Historic Preservation
Our chapter supports 13 local school districts with the DAR Good Citizens awards. We proudly sponsor the Colonel Thomas Hartley Society, Children of the American Revolution (C.A.R.) in York, Pennsylvania.
We participate in a variety of historic projects in York County, Pennsylvania.
Our members recognize the importance of preserving history for future generations by working to preserve genealogical data and ancestry, supporting various historic sites in York, and celebrating commemorative events.
From Constitution Week to rewarding students in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) program, to ensure local businesses have American flags for display, to newly naturalized citizens, our chapter is involved in York County. We devote volunteer efforts to both active duty military and veterans throughout our area.
